ESEC was founded in 1999 by Ronald W Huffman, P.E to specifically address the concerns created by improper EIFS installation. We quickly learned that improper installation issues existed with all types of wall claddings. Some of the most critical points are typically at the intersections of dissimilar materials; such as wall cladding joints to roofs, decks, windows and other wall claddings. The diversity of our knowledge and experience has expanded to include all wall and roof covering materials; and it is constantly increasing due to the new materials and applications of old materials being utilized today.
Over the past two decades ESEC has helped 1000s of our clients with various EIFS, stucco, stone, siding, deck, balcony, roof covering and water intrusion issues. Whether the issues are construction defects or the result of natural storm events including wind, hail and heavy rains, ESEC has the experience and knowledge to help you resolve your building issues.

Ron’s extensive knowledge and experience gives him the ability to help ESEC’s clients resolve their building envelop issues. Whether it be a simple visual evaluation and report of the existing conditions or one that requires more complex probing, water testing or destructive testing, ESEC can help our clients by providing the investigation services necessary to give them the information they require to make an informed decision to resolve their issues.
